Class Notes Information
Class Notes are selected by the department scheduler under the Class Notes Tab in PeopleSoft by using the Class Note Number. Departments using Class Notes can alert students to specific class details and/or requirements. Unlike the global notes, these notes tend to be more generic so that multiple departments can use them for a variety of classes. (Examples: lab fee required, off campus field trips, online class, etc.)
In the PDF version of the schedule of classes, this information would appear as part of the class information with a number referring to the "Class Note Explanation Page". Due to limited space on the PDF version, Academic Scheduling recommends no more than three notes per class. Additional notes (more than 4) will distort the class information appearing in the PDF. Unlike the global notes, Class Notes will only appear as part of the section information in PeopleSoft if the course was linked to the note.
