Systems and Technical Support

University Help Desk

The Academic Success Center University Help Desk provides front line IT support to Faculty, Staff and Students of the university in a variety of areas. We are the first point of contact for information and support on campus.

Information Technology Support Services (ITSS)

ITSS is composed of Desktop Support and the University Help Desk. ITSS assists users in troubleshooting problems with common desktop operating systems, with software/hardware conflicts, and with configuring and deploying selected desktop software packages.

A/V Repair

The Audio Video Technical Services repair shop was established to maintain university-owned A-V equipment, which is not only part of Academic Technology Media Services inventory, but equipment owned by various university departments.

Classroom Support

Video Services provides playbacks of programs to almost 500 locations over the campus cable system and supplies technical support for Smart Classrooms and Enhanced Classrooms.

SJSUOne Support

The SJSUOne account system is developed and maintained by UTS Computing Systems. This system enables you to connect to the wireless network and a growing list of SJSU web-based applications. Accounts are available to all SJSU faculty, staff and students.

Desire2Learn Support

eCampus supports the use of a learning management system (LMS) for teaching and learning online. SJSU uses Desire2Learn as its LMS.
