Q: What is AccVerify?
A: AccVerify is software that tests websites for compliance with accessibility standards and produces a report that identifies some accessibility problems.

Q: How do I get AccVerify?
A: AccVerify is available to San José State faculty, staff and students for installation on university computers, or computers used for university-only related work. It is available for download at http://www.sjsu.edu/accessibility/web/software. Note: you will need to log in using your SJSUOne account.

Q: How do I install AccVerify/AccRepair?
A: Follow the installation and licensing instructions on the download page.

Q: Can I install AccVerify on a Macintosh?
A: No, AccVerify currently runs only under Windows.

Q: How do I configure AccVerify?
A: Use the Section 508 tests, not WCAG. Other than that, there is no need to change the default settings. See the Process Guide (pdf) for details.
