Ernst & Young, LLP donates $32K to A&F Department


Ernst & Young, LLP donates $32,000 to the Department of Accounting & Finance via the Accounting Advisory Council (AAC). The AAC was formed in 2006 to connect the accounting firms with the students and faculty in the A&F Department. In its third year, E&Y has taken the leadership role in the AAC with its contribution and participation in the council. Proceeds will be used to support AAC panels, student-firm networking events, faculty research as well as to fund an Ernst & Young Faculty Fellow named in their honor.

The Accounting Advisory Council (AAC) comprised of twelve public accounting firms supports the Department of Accounting & Finance by providing students opportunities to network, attend panel discussions on career paths and current issues as well as engage in social activities.   For information about the firms on the AAC please go to the link:  Accounting Advisory Council.

KPMG funded two faculty fellows to Dr. Laura Ingraham and Dr. Mary Calegari.  The Department of Accounting and Finance gratefully accepts the fellowships from KPMG and congratulates Dr. Ingraham and Dr. Calegari!
