Accounting Services

Welcome!

This site is for San José State employees with financial bookkeeping responsibilities for their departments. We provide the following accounting services to University departments:

  • Accounting problem resolution and reconciliation.
  • Asset tracking.
  • Chart of accounts maintenance.
  • Coordination of year-end close and financial audits.
  • Cost recovery.
  • Financial reporting.

Accounting Services (formerly known as Accounting & Financial Systems) is part of the Finance Service Group, which is in the Administration & Finance Division.

Our Mission

Maintain accurate accounting records and provide useful financial information for the University.

Students interested in accounting courses and/or accounting degrees should visit the Department of Accounting and Finance.
