Printing Services Through OfficeMax Impress

Contracts & Purchasing Services has introduced a new, quick printing service that will offer enhanced printing capabilities and significant cost savings to campus departments.

The A.S. Print Shop is your first option for all of your printing needs. OfficeMax ImPress is now San José State's preferred off-campus printing vendor, offering an online system that combines ordering flexibility with easy-to-use features. Because OfficeMax is our preferred office supply vendor, print orders can be placed through the OfficeMax printing portal, which accepts the ProCard for payment. The OfficeMax discounts that are enjoyed by campus departments for business products extend to print orders from OfficeMax ImPress.

Count on OfficeMax ImPress for all your printing needs, including:

  • Color and black & white printing and copying
  • Presentations and proposals
  • Desktop publishing and design services
  • Brochures, forms, flyers, postcards, and announcements
  • Binding and finishing
  • Binding, mounting, folding, and laminating

To learn more about the services provided by OfficeMax Impress, please sign up for one of the overview sessions scheduled during the first two weeks of October. To register, log in to MySJSU and search for OfficeMax ImPress Overview (FIN 011).

OfficeMax Auto-Substitution Program

The Chancellor’s Office has been exploring a variety of synergy projects designed to reduce expenses and it has been determined that substantial savings can be achieved by making adjustments to the CSU’s office supply purchases. As a result, all campuses have implemented the auto-substitution program of about 1,700 products available from OfficeMax for economically priced, equivalent products.

Auto-substitution of products purchased through OfficeMax is not new for San José State, as toner cartridges and paper products have always been substituted for ones with recycled content. This new program applies to a broader scale of products and we believe there will be no effects in terms of product quality to campus departments.
