New MPP Performance Evaluation Form & Guidelines
In response to campus feedback, we recently rolled out a new MPP Performance Evaluation form as part of our ongoing process review. The form is cleaner and more simplified to make the completion of the performance evaluations easier. Annual evaluations for 2012-2013 are due in our office no later than August 4, 2013.
Spartan 101, the revamped New Employee Welcome, launched in June. HR rebuilt the program to focus on the Vision 2017 goals of Spartan Pride and Helping and Caring. In Spartan 101, new employees learn about SJSU and the university's mission and strategic plan. They also connect with important campus resources and have the opportunity to meet and network with fellow Spartans.
Sessions will be held the second Wednesday of every month, from 8:30am to 12:00pm in Clark Hall 547 and all employees are welcome. Please contact Julie Inouye Wong for more information or if you are a current employee and would like to attend.
Benefits Open Enrollment
The annual Benefits Open Enrollment period for SJSU employees is September 16, 2013 through October 11, 2013. All changes made during Open Enrollment will be effective January 1, 2014.
Open Enrollment is the annual opportunity to make changes to your benefit plans. During this period, you may enroll in or change a health or dental plan, add or delete dependents, enroll or cancel FlexCash and enroll in a Flexible Spending Account (HCRA/DCRA).
Please note that if you are currently participating in either HCRA or DCRA and wish to continue for tax year 2014, you must re-enroll during Open Enrollment.
More information regarding Open Enrollment will be distributed in the coming months, but if you have any questions about your benefits, please don't hesitate to contact your benefits services representative at 408 924-2250.
Employee Services Fair
