Emergency Placards
Emergency Procedures Placards

The University Police Department, in an effort to educate our campus community regarding the proper actions to take during an emergency, has developed an Emergency Procedures Placard that will be placed in prominent locations throughout all campus buildings. The location and installation of the placards will be determined in consultation with Facilities, Development & Operations and the Building Emergency Coordinators.

The placards contain specific information on what actions to take during fires, earthquakes, hazardous material releases, bomb threats, building lock downs and building evacuations.  Distinct bright colors where used to highlight different emergencies and increase visibility.

The 23rd Annual Holiday Toy Drive

Each holiday season, UPD collects toys for children in need around the campus neighborhood.

As we have done for the last 22 years, UPD is reaching out to the campus community and surrounding businesses for support with this project. We hope you will consider helping us with a cash gift or a gift in kind so that we may continue making the children's holidays a bit more festive and happy.
