Mike Dunefsky – Senior Director
Administrative Systems serves several roles at San José State University. Administrative Systems manages security for the CMS PeopleSoft application and related subsystems. Job scheduling within the CMS PeopleSoft system is also controlled by this organization. The Administrative Applications group provides programming support for enterprise-wide administrative applications. Administrative Systems provides desktop computer and server support to the Divisions of Administration and Finance and Intercollegiate Athletics, and several departments in Student Affairs.
Tony Valenzuela - Associate Vice President
Facilities Development and Operations (FD&O) promotes and enhances the learning process by providing a physical environment that is safe, comfortable, and attractive through our stewardship of physical asset management which includes operations, maintenance, modifications, alterations, and changes to existing facilities and new facility construction.
Becka Paulsen – Associate Vice President
Finance serves the campus by providing administrative information systems and financial services. The Bursar's Office provides services related to cashiering, accounts receivable and collections. Accounting & Financial Systems encompasses accounting and financial reporting. Procurement & Support Services provide services related to purchasing, accounts payable, shipping & receiving and campus mail. The University Budget Office oversees university budget administration and planning. The CMS Project Office is responsible for implementation, upgrades, training and support of SJSU's PeopleSoft products.
Maria Elena Rivera – Associate Vice President
Human Resources (HR) is comprised of Employee Support Services, Workforce Planning, Organizational Development and Training, and University Risk and Compliance. Human Resources partners with the campus community to develop a high performing organization.
Don Baker - Interim Associate Vice President
University Computing and Telecommunications (UCAT) provides Network, Telephony and Server Services including: internet connectivity, campus wireless, campus telephone, email and other support services such as wiring, network and server security.
Andre Barnes – Chief of Police
The University Police Department (UPD) provides uniformed police patrol of the University and surrounding neighborhoods, criminal and administrative investigations, community policing and crime prevention services. Officers will respond to your location to investigate criminal activity or unusual incidents. The Department is organized into five service units: Office of the Chief, Field Services, Administrative Services, Support Services and Special Operations. Serving with pride and integrity, members of the San José State University Police Department are dedicated to providing the highest level of professional law enforcement and public safety to our community.
