ITS provides a range of services to the campus community through the following departments:
Comprised of the CMS Project Office which provides training and helpdesk support for the PeopleSoft ERP systems (HR, Student, and Finance) and related subsystems. CMS also maintains the MySJSU web site. Administrative Applications provides programming support for the PeopleSoft ERP systems and for Desire to Learn. Administrative Technology provides database administration support, desktop/server/Active Directory support for the Division of Administration & Finance and Athletics, Security Administration for PeopleSoft and related subsystems, centralized job scheduling for Administrative Systems, and enterprise content management coordination and support.
Provides all voice/data trunks and services, campus telephone system design and operations support, cabling consultation and installation services, alarm service and the MAC process (moves and changes) in addition to other services.
Guides key ITS projects to a successful conclusion and creates a foundation for consistent project success throughout the SJSU campus.
Provides campus-wide, server based solutions to the staff, faculty and the students of SJSU and serves as 2nd level support to the campus help desks.
Provides the implementation, support, maintenance and consulting services for LAN, WAN, Wireless, and the Data Security of SJSU.
Functions as the on-campus Web design and Web application development group by providing consultation and production services. This unit maintains the University home page and top-level university Web Pages.
