The goal of the Administration and Finance Division Recognition Program is to encourage and recognize outstanding performance throughout the Division.
This is the first level of the program. This level is designed to encourage colleague-to-colleague recognition any time. When you observe a fellow employee going Above and Beyond, you can present them with a You Make the Difference Praise Card to acknowledge their extra efforts. A part of the Praise Card is also given to the supervisor. Praise cards are readily available in each Service Group. You can also contact your Service Group Recognition Committee member.
A Moment of Magic is an interaction that exceeds the expectations of the customer and leaves him/her with an extremely positive impression. The achievement/performance being recognized must demonstrate that the employee went above and beyond as well as demonstrated one of the University's shared values. The Division's Recognition Committee reviews each nomination and makes recommendations. However, the Division Leadership Team (Vice President and Direct Reports) make the final selection decisions. Recipients of the Moment of Magic Award receive:
This award is the highest employee recognition presented in the Division. This award is presented two times per year. Employees are nominated for the award by co-workers, managers or customers. Awards are presented to employees who demonstrate sustained outstanding performance as evidenced by quantified results. The Division's Recognition Committee reviews each nomination and makes recommendations. However, the Division Leadership Team (Vice President & Direct Reports) make the final selection decisions.
