Whether studying journalism, nursing, kinesiology, or one of the other diverse disciplines within the college, our students graduate with both scholarly and first-hand applied knowledge of their field.

The Nutrition, Food Science and Packaging Department received a two-year grant from Kaiser Permanente to research and promote healthy food habits among students, faculty and staff as part of the Healthy SJSU 2010 initiative.
We pride ourselves on our outstanding partnerships with corporations as well as governmental, educational and social institutions throughout Silicon Valley and beyond. Through these collaborations, we not only provide important hands-on experience for our students, but also invaluable social, health and leisure services for the community.
