Stock gifts can be transferred electronically into the San José State University account at either RBC Wealth Management [PDF] or Wells Fargo [PDF], using one of these Stock Gift Transfer letters. Please send the stock gift transfer letter (completed and signed) to your broker, with a copy to Maria Ramirez, manager of Advancement Services, San José State University. This will assist us with sending you recognition of your donation.

A gift receipt will be sent to you after we receive confirmation of the stock transfer from San José State University's broker.
SJSU's broker will liquidate stocks immediately and send the check to the university. The check will be deposited and credited to the gift account you have designated, or credited to the school/program where you intended the gift to be used.
Many companies encourage charitable giving by matching employee contributions. Find out if your company participates
or contact your company's human resources office to determine if your employer has a matching gifts program. If your employer has a matching gifts program, they can provide you with an authorized matching gift Form.
