Use this page to learn how to use the SJSU Articulation website to determine which classes at California Community Colleges, CSUs and UCs will transfer to SJSU as major or GE requirements.

Transferring Lower Division Major Courses

NOTE: Always check with your major/minor advisor to make sure they will accept the course you take elsewhere for their requirement(s).

1. Go to http://artic.sjsu.edu.
2. Click on "School-to-School Transfer".
3. Click on the Community College, CSU or UC you attended/plan to attend.
4. Click on your desired major.
5. SJSU lower division requirements will be on the left, and the equivalent course at the other institution will be on the right.

Transferring General Education Courses

1. Go to http://artic.sjsu.edu.
2. Click on "GE Breadth".
3. Click on the Community College or CSU you attended/plan to attend.
4. Find the GE Area(s) you wish to complete.
5. The listed courses are the ones you can take at that institution to meet our GE requirements.
