As part of the Frosh Orientation, an optional parents/family members section was created to assist family members learn about SJSU and its resources to students. At this orientation, family members will receive:

• Information on safety, how to navigate the campus, and all of our campus resources.
• A handbook titled "Empowering Parents of First-Year College Students: A Guide for Success."
• A chance to meet with a First year Transition Guide that will give them one on one time to ask questions and troubleshoot concerns.
