• I have been admitted to San José State University as a Frsoh, but have not yet attended classes.
• I am a first time frosh in my first semester who has never seen an Academic Advisor in an appointment at SJSU before.
• I am a first time frosh in my second semester who has never seen an Academic Advisor in an appointment at SJSU before.
• I am a transfer student who has never seen an Academic Advisor in an appointment at SJSU before.
• I am a frosh or sophomore who has seen an Academic Advisor previously at SJSU.
• I am a transfer student or upper division student who has seen an Academic Advisor previously at SJSU.
• I am a graduate student.

Admitted Students

• If you have not yet registered for your mandatory orientation, find more information about frosh orientation by visiting the Frosh Orientation website.
• You will meet with general education advisors and advisors from your major department and/or college at this orientation.
• Write down and bring a list of questions that you would like to ask your advisors.

New First Time Frosh - First Semester

• Come to the Academic Advising & Retention Services in the Students Services Center (SSC) for an advising session regarding General Education.
