At the eleventh commencement ceremony of the State Normal School of California in 1873, a few visionary graduates established the original organization known today as the San José State University Alumni Association. This association was founded with a mission to serve our great university. We have done so proudly for more than 133 years, and we will strive to provide even stronger support in the future.

You have the opportunity to join us in this spirit of service to San José State University and educate future generations about what it means to be a Spartan. By contributing to the Alumni Association, whether through your membership, a scholarship fund or an unrestricted gift, you help us to advance our mission of service to SJSU.

Scholarship Contributions

Donations made to Alumni Association scholarships are designated and may only be used to provide scholarships to students.

Unrestricted Contributions:

Unrestricted donations provide greater flexibility and allow the Alumni Association to utilize these funds where they are most needed.

Please support your Alumni Association by making a tax-deductible scholarship contribution or unrestricted contribution today. Both you and the Spartans of the future will be grateful that you did.
