April 2006Alumni Association News 1. MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
After more than five years at our temporary offices in downtown San José at 84 West Santa Clara Street, I am very pleased to report that your SJSU Alumni Association has returned to campus! In late March, we moved into a wonderfully renovated office suite on the third floor of Clark Hall (formerly the Clark Library) along with rest of the division of University Advancement.
I am very excited about the opportunities that our new
location will provide us to strengthen our connections with students, faculty,
staff, friends and especially, you -- our graduates. The next time you are
visiting the campus, please stop by our office and say hello. If you ever need
to arrange a tour of campus for a family member, friend or yourself to see the
newest facilities, let us know and we will be happy to schedule a tour for you
through the SJSU Welcome Center. View the complete message.

Spring Football Game held in Spartan Stadium to climax the “Spartan Sports
Spectacular.”

thing when you scrimmage as much. We had about 70-80 plays on offense/defense. I
think there was a lot of hard hitting out there. When we look at the film, we’ll
find there are some guys who really emerged and showed themselves in a positive
light,” said San José State coach Dick Tomey. “I know the competition was good.
