Judith Georges received her Ph.D. in American Religious History from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. Her areas of academic interest focus on American religion and culture and American women and religion. She is currently revising her dissertation, Christmas in California, and expanding a study of California pioneer, Sarah B. Royce, to submit for publication.
Judith has previously taught Introduction to Religion and Women and Religion at the University of LaVerne, Survey of American History at Evergreen Valley College, and American Religious History and Writing for the Humanities at San Jose State University. She looks forward to teaching American Civilization through the SJSU American Studies Program and The Church of Baseball through the MUSE program during the 2007 Fall Semester.
