What is Spartan Squad?
Spartan Squad is the official student athletic booster program of San José State University supporting SJSU athletics. Founded in the Fall of 2005 by Matthew Olivieri and Brad Villeggiante, with support from Associated Students, the Squad increases SJSU pride, unity and spirit throughout the student body.
Spartans Transform Construction Site into a Work of Art
An SJSU Art student painting a mural, located by the Student Union, in front of the Art Building. Students have decided to paint the wall that was put up after construction started in order to celebrates the continuity of the past and present by showcasing artist self-portraits of the past five hundred years.
The San José State University Animation/Illustration program is consistently ranked as one of the premier university programs in the nation. Originally conceived to give local students a chance to compete for careers in the screen arts, the program now attracts students nationally and internationally
