Nicole Conand received her M.A in Applied Anthropology from San Jose State University in 2011, and her B.A in Behavioral Sciences in 2007. In addition to her role as a lecturer in the Anthropology department, she also works as a freelance contractor, conducting ethnographic and user research for various companies and organizations. Topics range from community engagement, organizational services and education, to mobile applications, product design, and information flows. She is currently teaching Anth 11: Introduction to Cultural Anthropology, and Anth 25: Human Life Course in Context.
