Nicole Conand is an applied anthropologist and former graduate of San Jose State University. She has contributed to several sponsored projects intended to improve communities and services; focusing on engagement, technology, and health and wellness. Nicole was a research assistant on the Healthy Eating Active Living project supported by Kaiser Permanente, and research manager on the Sparkplugs Project supported by the Knight Foundation. For the last three years, she has worked independently conducting ethnographic research on mobile technologies and consumer products for various companies. Nicole also serves as a member of the N.A.P.A communications committee.
