Presentation and Q&A |Heather Joseph, SPARC

Changes in Scholarly Publication:

The Open Access Movement

Scholarly communication models are changing dramatically, with the emergence of online publications and the establishment of institutional repositories. Recent open access policies adopted by major institutions, such as Harvard and UC Berkeley, led the SJSU Academic Senate to establish a task force to investigate open access issues. Heather Joseph has been at the forefront of these changes, and her visit to SJSU will provide valuable insight into the future of scholarly communication.

Recorded Presentation and Q&A session from Tuesday, March 3, 2009
