D2L Faculty Training Offered by eCampus

This is a very basic workshop to help you get started with Desire2Learn (D2L), the new learning management system that will be replacing Blackboard starting with the Summer 2010 term. We especially encourage instructors teaching in Summer 2010 to attend.

This workshop covers -

  • Logging in
  • Passwords
  • Overview of the user interface
  • Uploading files
  • Migrating course materials from Blackboard
  • eCampus resource site containing recorded tutorials on the tools and processes of D2L

Attendees are encouraged to bring a flash drive with instructional materials such as course syllabus, documents, web links, videos, etc. to use while building your practice course during the session.

Workshops are held in the Industrial Studies Building room 134A
