
The Academic Technology Network strives to provide you with the latest video and data collaboration technology and support. Our goal is to connect you to your students, colleagues and content in the most efficient way possible. With services such as video and web conferencing and streaming, we make classes available to more students, presentations viewable to more people, and information instantly accessible to the World Wide Web audience. Transcending borders, our videoconferencing service allows users at multiple locations to meet in virtual conference rooms. We eliminate the need for long distance travel, thereby saving students time, increasing productivity and collaboration, increase student success by allowing review of archived material, relieving campus parking congestion and reducing the carbon footprint of San José State University.
Today’s modern technology offers exciting new opportunities for flexible, dynamic, and effective instruction. The Academic Technology Network utilizes this potential with production and distribution services for televised, video-conferencing, and webcasting courses. The Academic Technology Network is the distance education group in the Media Production and Delivery unit of the Academic Technology Department at SJSU.
