American Institute of Chemical Engineers

The AIChE Student Section is affiliated with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. This organization provides professional networking and resources to undergraduate and graduate students in ChE. The 2013-2014 President is Joanna Cuevas.

The faculty advisor is Dr. Claire Komives.

Biomedical Engineering Society

The Biomedical Engineering Society is dedicated to promoting the profession of biomedical engineering through the organized effort of this group in study, research, and discussion of the fields of biomedical engineering and the dissemination of knowledge thereby gained. The chapter shall promote membership and fellowship in the BMES by acquainting the student body with the ideas, purposes, and objectives of BMES.

The faculty advisor is Dr. Guna Selvaduray.

International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering

The ISPE Student Section is affiliated with the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering. 

The faculty advisor is Dr. Claire Komives.

Materials Advantage

Materials Advantage is a national organization that acts as the student chapter for 4 different materials related professional socieities:

By joining Materials Advantage, the student has access to the networking, professional resources, and scholarships of all 4 national organizations. On campus, the Materials Advantage club hosts social events and professional development activites. The students are active in the local ASM professional section which hosts monthly dinner meetings, which provide great opportunities to learn more about materials engineering in local industry and network with working engineers. The 2017-2018 President is Justin Chua.

The faculty advisor is Dr. Richard Chung.

Society of Plastics Engineers

The SPE Student Section is affiliated with the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE). Established in the United States over sixty years ago SPE has become a global leader in information, innovation, and distribution of plastics. 

The SPE student chapter provides students interested in polymers and plastics engineering with opportunities to further their knowledge to become successful in the industry. The club aims to encourage students to follow their interests in the field of polymers through professional networking events, technical talks, and industry tours. The 2017-2018 President is Crystal Pereira

The faculty advisor is Dr. Ozgur Keles.

Society of Women Engineers

The Society of Women Engineers is the largest non-profit educational and service organization representing both student and professional women in engineering and technical fields. The 2013-2014 President is Carissa Labriola.
