The Beethoven Center is located in Room 580 in the special collections area on the fifth floor of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library.

The King Library is on the campus of San José State University in downtown San José, at 150 E. San Fernando St., on the corner of S. Fourth and San Fernando streets. Public parking is available in the 4th St. Garage across the street (at 44 S. Fourth St.), and other nearby garages and lots. Metered street parking may also be available.

In the event of staff illnesses or other unforeseen events, we may need to close or shorten the Center's hours without notice. When possible, we will post the shortened hours on our website here.

July 4-6: CLOSED

Please note that the Center will have reduced hours on the following days this summer to accommodate staff vacations:

July 8-12: open 11-3 only
July 13: CLOSED
July 15: open 1-4 only
July 19: open 1-4 only
July 22: open 1-4 only
July 26: open 1-4 only
July 29: open 1-4 only
August 2: open 1-4 only

The Center will be closed for the following holidays and other events later in 2013:
