Volunteer opportunities

Photo of volunteerThe Beethoven Center invites you to join our volunteer staff! Benefits include free parking in the Fourth Street Garage (during hours on duty only), free admission to our events, and the satisfaction of helping the only library and museum in the U.S. devoted to your favorite composer ... right in your own backyard!

Current needs

Docents

We are currently recruiting for docents to help visitors touring our exhibits during the Center's open hours. Docents greet drop-in visitors, guide them through the Center, and answer basic questions. Permanent staff are always on hand to assist.

Clerical assistants

We need volunteers to be on call to help us with mass mailings and other clerical projects.

Cataloging assistants

We especially need volunteers knowledgeable in cataloging library materials (books, scores, recordings, videos, art materials), or willing to learn!
