Please join us on Wednesday afternoons from 2:00-2:30 for "Clavichord to Fortepiano", a Mini Concert and Presentation featuring the Center's Historic Keyboard Collection by docent Dr. Richard Sogg. Current schedule

October 3, 2012, 7:00 p.m. "English Versus Viennese: Dueling Fortepianos." A close-up view of the Center's instruments featuring Janine Johnson and a new video by Robert Brilliant. First Wednesdays series, King Library, Schiro Room 550. Free but seating is limited.

December 15, 2012. 1:00-5:00 p.m. Beethoven Birthday Open House. Concert by Ai Goldsmith at 2:00 p.m.

January 26 - May 25, 2013. Beethoven's Vienna exhibit. King Library Special Collections exhibit hall & the Beethoven Center. Free.

February 6, 2013, 7:00 p.m. To Quill or Not to Quill: Exploring the Art of Writing with Quill and Ink. First Wednesdays series, King Library, Schiro Room 550. Free but seating is limited.

February 21, 2013, 7:00 p.m. "Exploring Beethoven's Late Quartets: A Conversation with the Escher Quartet and William Meredith." Co-sponsored by the San Jose Chamber Music Society, the Beethoven Center and the American Beethoven Society. King Library, Schiro Room 550. Free

February 22 & 23, 8:00 p.m. Beethoven String Quartet Cycle presented by the Escher String Quartet. Co-sponsored by the San Jose Chamber Music Society, the Beethoven Center and the American Beethoven Society. Pre-concert talks by Bill Meredith at 7:00 p.m. Le Petit Trianon. April 5, 2013. 7:30 p.m. Le Petit Trianon (seating chart). Stephan Moeller, piano. All-Beethoven recital including the Hammerklavier Sonata, once described as the “Mount Everest of all Sonatas”; the Sonata in E-flat Major, Opus 7; and the Sonata in E Minor/Major, Opus 90. April 6, 2013. 27th Annual Celia Mendez Young Pianist's Beethoven Competition.Final competition: 9:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Free admission
Master Class with Stefan Möller: 2:30-4:30 p.m. $15/general; $10/students (under 25) and senior citizens (above 65)
