Resources for Beethoven research

Research at the Beethoven CenterAs the only institution in North America dedicated to Beethoven and his music, the Beethoven Center strives to help researchers of all levels to connect to all available Beethoven resources. We created the Beethoven Gateway to help researchers locate books and articles on specific Beethoven topics and well as manuscripts, first editions, and other sources for the music. Also available through the Beethoven Center's webpage are the database of Beethoven materials sold at auction since 1985, and a list of rare Beethoveniana located in various collections in the United States. Please explore the various links here to help you pursue your interest in Beethoven.

For additional research assistance, please consult our services page or contact our Curator Patricia Stroh.
