Fees for reproductions
Black and white photocopies $.25 per page Black and white glossy prints $10 each Color prints $15 each Scans (96 dpi) sent via email* $10 each High resolution scans (up to 600 dpi) on CD* $30 each * For materials not yet available in the Digital Beethoven Gateway
Fees for publications
Researchers, students, educational institutions and non-profits [501(c)3] located in the United States may use the Beethoven Center's images in media and publications without additional fees. However, for materials still under copyright, it is the responsibility of those individuals/institutions to obtain permissions from the copyright holder. For more information, see our page on copyright guidelines.
All publications must include the following credit statement for each image reproduced from the Center's collection:

For-profit publishers must pay an additional fee for permission to publish images provided from the Beethoven Center's collection. Permission is granted for one time, one edition, one publication, one broadcast, one digital press run, or one website use only. Further use requires separate application.
