How to become a Biology Major (or change your concentration within the Biology Major)
Take and pass Biol 1A, Chem 1A and Engl 1A all with a C or better.
Have a minimum major class GPA of 2.0 and Cumulative SJSU GPA of 2.0.
What to bring with you:
Print out a copy of your unofficial transcript that shows you have the required prerequisites. Follow this link for instructions on how to download your transcript.
Download and print out a TYPED “Change of Major/Minor Request” form from the Registrar’s website. There are two such forms, one for students who have completed fewer than 90 units and one for students who have completed 90 or more units, so choose the appropriate one.
