About Bridge

The Transition to College Program is intended to:

  • Build academic and learning skills that lead to academic success, retention and graduation in a timely manner;
  • Accelerate adjustment to the university environment by providing a spectrum of educational experience including orientation, instruction, tutorial assistance, and on-campus residential living;
  • Establish and nurture a culture of excellence; and
  • Create a sense of community and peer networking among the participants.

The Transition to College Program is a part of the University's Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), which has existed at the campus for 35 years.
