When you are estimating your salary expenditures, don't forget that Positive Pay is always one month behind. For example, when September’s payroll is posted, it will include the Positive Pay for the month of August.
Positive Pay is the pay for employees who are paid by the hour and issued checks during the middle of the month. This includes Student Assistant, Intermittent Hourly Temporary Help, Campus Work Study, Overtime and Shift Differential.
