Fees

University Registration Fees

These include State University Fees and SJSU campus fees including:

  • Instructionally Related Activities (IRA) Fee
  • Student Association Fee
  • Student Union Fee
  • Student Health Fee
  • Document Fee

All fees are mandatory and are assigned a due date based on the date you register. Students are responsible for checking their accounts online at MySJSUexternal link for fees charged and payment due dates. The Bursar’s Office does not mail bills. Please note: Fees are subject to change without notice. Fees are subject to adjustment by the Board of Trustees - actual fee rates will be posted on the Bursar's Office website as soon as any changes are made.

Special Program Fees

There are special fees assessed for individual special programs. If you have any questions regarding these fees, please visit Special Programs and contact the appropriate campus department for the special program you are interested in.
