The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees.
Systemwide Fee Rates are set by the Board of Trustees and are charged at the same rate per academic year at each CSU campus.
All fees are mandatory and are assigned a due date based on the date you register. Students are responsible for checking their accounts online at MySJSU for fees charged and payment due dates. The Bursar’s Office does not mail bills. Check your account often for important messages sent by SJSU.
(Matriculated students are those who have been admitted to SJSU as regular students for the current semester or were registered as matriculated students in at least 1 of the 2 previous semesters and did not graduate.)
