Enrollment Cancellation
Make your payment by your specified Payment Due Date to avoid enrollment cancellation!
If students do not pay the amount due by the payment due date, all classes will be dropped. Payments that are less than the amount due are considered partial payments, and will also result in enrollment cancellation.
If you are unable to pay your fees in full, you should enroll in the Installment Payment Plan. Failure to pay any installments by the scheduled due dates will result in all classes being dropped.
During Advanced Registration
- If you are disenrolled for nonpayment of fees before the first day of instruction, during Advanced Registration, login to MySJSU and re-add your classes.
After First Day of Instruction
- If you are disenrolled for nonpayment of fees after the first day of instruction and before the Add deadline, login to MySJSU and re-add your classes. (A permission number or add code from instructor/professor may be required.)
- If you are disenrolled for nonpayment of fees after the first day of instruction and after the Add deadline, you must now complete and submit a Late Enrollment Request form to the Registrar's Office. To download the form, visit the Registrar's Office Academic Forms
First Semester Students
- If this is your first semester and you were disenrolled for nonpayment of fees and will not be re-adding your classes for the current semester, you will need to reapply to SJSU via CSU Mentor.

Continuing Students
- If you are a continuing student and you were disenrolled for nonpayment of fees before school started and you will not be re-adding classes, you do not need to do anything. You will remain in good standing for the following semester.
- If you are a continuing student, and you were disenrolled for nonpayment of fees after school started and you will not be re-adding your classes, to stay in good standing for the following semester, you must go to the R window located in the Student Services Center and request a Re-Enrollment/Activation Request form and pay the $40 re-enrollment/activation fee to Cashiering Services. If this form is not completed and submitted to the Registrar's Office, you will not be able to attend SJSU in the future without reapplying to SJSU.
