Refunds

For a detailed list of refund amounts, see Fall, Spring or Summer as appropriate (click on the links on the left side of the screen).

Please note that all credits/refunds, including overpayments initially paid by a credit card or an ATM debit card, are posted to the student's account and sent directly to the student.

eRefunds

eRefunds are posted directly to your designated bank account instead of mailing out a paper check. This is a fast and convenient way to receive your money.

There is a $20 refund processing fee withheld from your refund if we issue a paper check. However, if you select eRefunds, this fee is waived. The $20 refund processing fee does not apply to financial aid disbursements.

Should a system malfunction occur and an eRefund be sent in error, SJSU reserves the right to retrieve the eRefund from student's designated bank account immediately.
