Goals

  • Increase employment opportunities for students by 20%
  • Increase student job and internship placements by 10%
  • Research new emerging job markets
  • Provide access to on‐line resources that will assist students with the job search process

Results

  • Increased job openings from 53,151 to 75,347. This represented a 42% increase in job openings compared to a baseline of average job postings for 2012‐2013
  • Offered new opportunities to connect with employers by developing Drop‐in Interview days
  • Coordinated the Nonprofit and Public Service Job & Internship Forum
  • Conducted research and created programs around emerging markets
  • Provided access to the following online resources: GoinGlobalVirtual Workshops (WebEx), and Career Spots
  • Created the Career Center's first student advisory group comprising of student organizations and leaders on campus
