FAQs

I've graduated from San José State and am no longer taking classes; do I need to pay to access the services after graduation?

SJSU alumni gain access to our self-help services by purchasing an Annual Career Center Membership for $25 or by becoming Alumni Association members. Membership includes access to self-help job search resources, employment events, and more. Fees are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and are not pro-rated. The membership will be valid for one calendar year or as long as the Alumni Association membership is current.

Recent graduates continue to have access to SJSU Handshake (job database) for 12 months post graduation.

Does my Alumni Association Membership give me access to the Career Center?

Yes. The $25 Career Center fee is waived upon presentation of your valid SJSU Alumni Association membership card. Please note, this service is only available to those who graduated from SJSU.
