Ben Ochstein

Talent Manager
KIPP Bay Area Schools
Two weeks after starting teaching in New Orleans, Hurricane Katrina knocked down my school in the 9th Ward. I joined a team to start a KIPP school for displaced hurricane evacuees, KIPP: New Orleans West. Ever since then I have been energized by the impact of KIPP. I taught for six years at KIPP New Orleans and KIPP DC before starting in teacher recruitment. I currently lead teacher recruitment for KIPP Bay Area Schools and have the pleasure of connecting with passionate educators ready to grow and develop in our amazing schools.
