To qualify for the SJSU WorkAbility IV Program, you must be:

• • Registered as a consumer or eligible to receive services with the California State Department of Rehabilitation
  • A student with a significant disability whose goal is to seek a career in his/her academic field upon graduation
  • A current fulltime student in good academic standing (2.0 GPA or better) or recent graduate (within 2 years) of San Jose State University

 

As a client of WorkAbility IV, your responsibility will be to:

• • Maintain good academic standing at SJSU and within your major department
  • Register with the SJSU Disability Resource Center
  • Actively participate in WorkAbility IV programs and demonstrate reasonable progress in career development and employment preparation
  • Demonstrate an on-going commitment to completing an internship or gaining exposure to an employment setting prior to graduation
