The Community Engagement Collaborative invites you to our 7th Annual Community Connections Fair at San Jose State University.

PURPOSE OF EVENT:

CCLL invites diverse community organizations from the San Jose area to promote their programs through tabling and advertising to students during the Community Connections Fair. The purpose is to have students become more involved in the community through service-learning and volunteerism. Community Connections is free for all nonprofit community organizations; however, a check-only donation of $25 dollars would be most helpful and can be given on the day of the event at check-in table.

DATE OF EVENT:

Wednesday September, 8th 2010 from 10am to 2:00pm 
Location: San Jose State University Campus, San Carlos Plaza 
Tenative: concurring workshop for community partners from at 9am to 10am

SAN JOSE, CA COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS - HOW TO REGISTER FOR COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS:

To participate in this event please e-mail community.learning@sjsu.edu and provide the following:

1. 1. Name of Organization 
   2. A three to four sentence summary describing volunteering/internship opportunities 
   3. Contact information for Organization- Contact person name, phone, email, website 

NOTE: This information will be used in the Community Connections Program to promote your organization, so please make sure it is the most updated information. Our capacity for this year is 40 tables so please register by Friday August, 6th 2010, you will be informed through email if you can be accommodated with a table at the event.
