  • SJSU Day of Service: Students, staff and faculty will be joined by community members and partnering non-profit organizations to work together to make this day a memorable community-service experience. A thousand volunteers are expected to participate in nearly thirty community improvement projects located in the five Strong Neighborhoods Initiative areas that surround San Jose State University.

  • Community Service-Learning Provost Award: The 7th Annual Community Service-Learning Provost Award recognizes students, faculty, departments, community organizations, and collaborative projects for excellence in service-learning-- special recognition for top achievers. The AmeriCorps, SHINE, SIA and CCCAC programs of the University are also recognize for their work in the community.
