SAVE members serve as campus and community leaders in creating a safe and supportive community based on priniciples of equality and nonviolence.
SAVE is a student driven organization. SAVE members provide public education to prevent relationship violence. In Fall 2008, SJSU SAVE was recognized as an official chapter of the national SAVE organization. In Spring 2009, SAVE was recognized by Associated Students as a Student Club at SJSU. This past year, SJSU SAVE officers and members contributed to preventing intimate violence on campus and in the community by developing unique informational pamphlets, disseminating printed information at both campus and countywide events,conducting workshops, and evaluating current intervention efforts.
