Out programs typically run Monday-Friday and includes a full training day. Volunteers stay for the week as the responsible adult of fifth or sixth graders. Volunteers earn up to 87 service hours. Student tech leadership program enables upper elementary, middle, and high school students to provide a service to their schools, while they learn Information Technology (IT), customer service, communication, and leadership skills. The core elements of the program include online curriculum, hands-on activities, student-run help desk, and volunteers to assist with curriculum, help desk, mentoring approximately 1 hour a week. Resource Area for Teaching provides industry surplus materials to teachers for hands-on Math, Science and Art activities. Volunteers are needed on a daily basis to prepare materials for teachers.
