California State Parks.  The Habitat Restoration Project at Half Moon Bay State Beach seeks students on weekends to restore native habitat to areas colonized by invasive plant species.

*EPICS – Engineering Projects In Community Service.  This grant-funded program involves engineering students (non-exclusive) in engineering related projects in the community. EPICS overlaps programs and partners: implementing a Homeowner’s Guide to Earthquake Safety in the Five Wounds SNI with NHSSV; initiating a solar power project in a low-income trailer park in FWBT; supporting an “elementary engineering” i.e. science club at Anne Darling School. San Jose Conservation Corps.  Provides youth with quality high school education and teaches valuable work and life skills empowering them to become responsible, productive, and caring citizens.
