STEP UP allows students to participate in our Poverty Simulations in which large groups (up to 80 people!) participate in a simulation of urban poverty where each participant plays an assigned role of an impoverished individual. Each time our Poverty Simulation team does one of these events we need a variety of helpers to make the activity go smoothly. Besides helping with these events, we have teams working on poverty issues (hunger, housing, health care, income, advocacy, etc.) which would be interesting for students to participate in. We also need help administratively with the campaign (office work, phone calling, etc.). Sign up for our informational campaign emails on our website:
