YEA stands for Youth Education Advocates. One of the major projects we are working as is the Education Rights Project. The project gets special education for minors in the juvenile justice system. The goals of this project are to: Train social workers and probation officers, help them find the children who need special services, make sure that kids get tested for disabilities and teach parents and other caregivers that they can ask to have their kids tested. Be trained as an advocate for juvenile justice. Project Yea! Kids with learning disabilities have problems growing up.
