If you are interested in finding out more about our major or minor but you are not yet ready to sign up drop by every Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Clark Hall, room 231 to meet with Erlinda Yañez (email@example.com).
Schedule a Meeting with an Advisor
Ready to sign up! You can schedule an appointment with Dr. Barrera to meet with her to complete the process.
- Bring the completed Change of Major/Minor form + required attachments
- Download the department Major Form (coming soon!)
- Log in to MySJSU, use the "degree progress" to access your "academic advising report" to help you fill out the form. Transfer students should check with the Major Advisor for courses that do not have an articulation agreement with your transfer institution, we May accept the course. Note that lower division course(s) will not articulate against an upper division course.
- Bring your unofficial transcripts (SJSU/transfer) with you to the appointment.
