Karma Hackney

Karma Hackney has a total of twenty years in the emergency management field. Her first eleven years were with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, assisting in recovery efforts for disasters in the U.S. and U.S. territories from the Caribbean to the South Pacific.

Karma joined the Governor's Office of Emergency Services (OES) in 1994 to head up the Individual Assistance recovery efforts including earthquakes, floods, fires as well as agricultural disasters.

Currently, Karma is the Statewide Individual Assistance Officer for OES.

Karma received her Bachelors of Arts degree from the Brigham Young University-Hawaii.
