Step Action
Posting Presentations
  • To submit your presentation, go to the following web site address: ftp://drcftp.oes.ca.gov
  • Log into site (case sensitive):
    • User name: DRCUser
      Password: teachme
Deadline
  • Please submit your presentation in or before 5:00 p.m., May 9, 2005
USB Flash Drive(Thumb Drive)
  • USB memory sticks/thumb-drives can be used at the conference.
  • An advanced copy of your presentation is still required.
Equipment
  • If you need any special AV needs beyond a computer and projector, you must request them no later than May 9, 2005.
  • Laser pointers are not be available.
Personal Laptops
  • You may use your personal laptop but you must inform our DRC IT staff of your intention by May 9, 2005.
  • Presentation contains many photographs or video pieces, we urge you to use your own equipment.
  • An advanced copy of your presentation is still required.
  • If you are using a MAC, bring an LCD cable for your connection.


  • Note:
    A suggestion to shrink the size of a presentation is to use the PIXresizer link (http//:bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm) to resize a file or a selection of image files. This will decrease the memory size of the photo but not the resolution. This should be done before imbedding photos into a PowerPoint presentation.
Ballroom Presentations
  • People presenting in the ballroom during morning plenary sessions, MUST have their presentations to DRC IT Staff the night before their presentation.
  • People presenting in the ballroom during afternoon plenary sessions, MUST have their presentation to DRC IT Staff the morning (11:00 a.m.) of the session.
